Summary

We certainly had a lot to live up to when delivering the refurbishment works at the Grade I listed Albany, Piccadilly which is said to be “London’s most exclusive address” and the oldest apartment block in London.

The expectation of the residents, and therefore our clients, was extremely high. Past residents have included Lord Byron, three Prime Ministers, heart-throb actors including 1960’s Terence Stamp and has even been the residence of fictional characters including A J Raffles and Jack in the Importance of Being Ernest.

36 “sets” as the prestigious flats are known are encased in the main mansion and our work involved the external repair and redecorations of masonry, stucco, and brickwork, redecoration and repair to original sash windows, together with the white regency style render being repainted and restored.
