Summary

Gatton Hall is a Grade II Listed building located in the heart of the Royal Alexandra and Albert School grounds in the historic Gatton Park. This project,  comprises the replacement of existing mechanical and electrical services together with other services and associated builders work including asbestos remediation.  Due to the nature and the use of the building (the areas in which we are not working will be occupied by staff and students) the works will be phased.

Phase one saw the alteration and refurbishment of bedrooms and bathrooms on the second floor following relocation of all furniture and students prior to the commencement of the works.  During Phase two we moved to Level 1 to refurbish more student accommodation.  Currently on phase 3 there will be the minor demolition to the ground floor, internal structural alteration and internal and external refurbishment of function space which is a popular wedding and event venue.  Our site teams have designed bespoke logistics to ensure that there is minimum disruption to the school during the course of the works and the highest levels of security, health, and safeguarding of the staff and pupils.
