The works included the complete decoration of private side rooms and the replacement of the all bathroom floors as well as minor remedial works and repairs.

The mothers unit required the complete redecoration and re-flooring of a full wing encompassing seven bedrooms, a day room, a waiting area, three bathrooms, a kitchen and a toilet, including all corridors and communal areas.

Adjacent parts of the hospital remained fully operational throughout the course of the works.
