Summary
This project saw the refurbishment of the Business School offices in the Royal School of Mines.
This included new flooring, ceiling and furniture but also greatly improved LED lighting and a green wall.
The area above saw the removal of a dividing wall to feel more part of the whole office. The concrete floor needed a channel cut into it to allow for the substantial increase in power requirements.
The new layout is much more user friendly, lighting is much improved with a considerable reduction in energy usage. The green wall is a living space to make the office area feel closer to the outdoors.
