Summary
Solar House, which is located on the High Road, Finchley, is a 1980's commercial property with self-contained offices, retail and leisure facilities. Russell Cawberry undertook the complete refurbishment across several floors of the building all of which remained part occupied throughout the work. We reconfigured existing space followed by total refurbishment and fit out of the spaces to create a new place of worship, community space and a commercial kitchen.
We installed PV panels to the roof and a plant room to support the new mechanical and electrical services. Finally we constructed a new glazed entrance with a disabled access ramp. The project was registered with the Considerate Constructors Scheme.
