The refurbishment and remodelling of the Chemical and Process Engineering labs (CPE) are set in the heart of the University campus. The Department of Chemical and Process Engineering at Surrey is one of the longest established in the UK, and is fixed in the UK’s top ten. The labs are set over three floors, their purpose is to provide research space for students, professors and researchers.The staff and students along with their experiements were relocated for the works.
All three phases are complete and the results were well received by the client. The rest of the building has remained operational throughout. The close liaison between the department and our site management made the whole process extremely smooth, to the benefit of all.
